KM Doppelfernrohr 10x80 Flak Binoculars, genuine vintage North African German campaign Panzer tank binoculars, Serial # 34332.
World War II collectors, or like myself, see across the bay to San Francisco. These heavy duty 10 X 80 binoculars have the rare shades over the lenses. With the lens shades the length is 15" and 11" without the shades. They are 5" high and 8" wide which adjusts wider.
They are too heavy to hand hold. They are mounted on a Bausch & Lomb -- Professional tripod with three way spring loaded pan head. A truly great binocular for looking at the night sky.
They were bought from the San Francisco Gun Exchange, 50 years ago. Selling price $1,415. Can be viewed in San Francisco or Tiburon.
